Intelligent First Aid Talking First Aid Kit
Jul 28th, 2010

As a mom, I try to make sure I am prepared for any situation that could occur. I especially want to be prepared for any emergencies that may arise. I have gone through books and magazine articles spelling out various procedures like CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver. But I have often wondered if I would actually have the presence of mind to remember these things should my children ever be involved in a real emergency.
When I came across the Talking First Aid Kits from Intelligent First Aid, I knew I would feel a lot more comfortable having something like that handy.

What I liked:

  • There are 9 different packs included: Breathing/CPR; Bleeding; Shock; Head & Spine; Bones; Eyes; Burns; Bites & Stings; and Basics. I feel confident that whatever injury occurs, all the necessary supplies are readily available and easy to find.
  • Each pack contains a talking card that will talk you step-by-step through the procedures needed to care for each injury.
  • The kit comes in a handy case with dividers for each pack. None of the supplies become mixed-up this way, and it is easy to find what you need quickly. The case also makes it easy to take the kit on-the-go so that you can be prepared for emergencies while you're away from home.

What I'd change:

  • I honestly can't think of anything about this kit that I didn't like. It is very handy and I feel totally prepared should any injuries take place at or away from my home.
